UCON (youth conversion) - April 8-9, 2011

What we do

Our mission is to influence Peoria's youth population by providing positive events at various venues, enhance relationship building through our ongoing fellowship, mentorship, and partnership with relations within the community, and swap-out the negative music that youth is listening to with more positive uplifting music.

 

UCON's aim is to be on the front lines battling teen crime, low self-esteem, destruction of families, negative behavior situated within our inner city, and other social ills faced by our youth daily.

We are here to assist young people in becoming positive, influential citizens in the world and their community by providing a Christ centered environment to support the physical and emotional needs of our youth. If you would like to join us by volunteering and mentoring these youth.

Testimonies of UCON 2010 - Life is NO Game (Choices and Decisions)

UCON has an annual conference. Last years theme was "Life is NO Game (Choices and Decisions). The conference is in the Spring on a Friday night and all-day Saturday at Dream Center Peoria. Friday night is for local artists. Saturday is a jam packed day with breakout sessions, gaming competitions, and a concert with a holy hip-hop artist (underground groups) such as 'Exodus Movement'.
