Summer Internship Opportunity

Do you need an intern experience for college credit? Do you want to help out this summer in a huge way? Looking for a resume booster? We may have an opportunity for you! DCP is looking for a summer intern, 18 or older, who would help coordinate and implement summer youth activities, including a six week summer camp. Help Send a Kid to Summer Camp!

This summer ushers in a new season for Dream Center Peoria. We will be beginning a six-week summer day camp for participants ages 7-18. Campers will go on several field trips, participate in various activities and have tons of fun. Cost for camp is $200 for the entire six weeks. Many of the kids we will be serving come from low-income families. We are asking for champions to help send kids to camp. If you would like to help sponsor a participant, please use one of these methods and make sure to mark it champions.

Are you Looking to Volunteer with or Mentor Youth?

Our Youth Facility has finally opened and programs for youth are running and we need volunteers. If you are looking to volunteer, please contact Robbie. Current programs include homework and tutoring, computers, 4H, Girl Scouts, and athletics.

 

Wish List for the HOPE Store

In order to serve our clients better, we need these items in the HOPE Store.

• Diapers of any size

• Baby wipes

• Shampoo & Conditioner

• Soap

• Shavers & Shaving Cream

• Kleenex

• Toilet Tissue

• Bedding (Blankets of any size, sheets of any size, pillows, pillow Cases)

• Towels (Bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, dish towels)

You can drop any of these items off in the Dream Center office on the second floor of 714 Hamilton Blvd. Thank you!
