This position is part-time 20-25hrs a week
DREAM CENTER PEORIA (DCP) exists to Impact families living in poverty, starting with kids and youth.

POSITION
The Kitchen Assistant will work with the Kitchen Manager in the implementation of the Mission and Vision of DCP FOOD, through all areas and departments of DCP. He/She will play a critical role in bringing Dignity, Compassion and Purpose through the food we serve and the lives we will change through culinary arts.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for meal preperation
• Responsible for Kitchen clean up
• Responsible for meal counts for all grant funded programs
• Responsible for serving meals
• Live and breathe DCP Core values of Dignity, Compassion and Purpose
• Live and breath DCP staff values
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other
• Knowledge of ministry areas at DCP
• Ability to work within a team environment including staff and volunteers
• Ability to relate well to diverse groups of people and ministries
• Passion and desire for Dream Center Peoria and this position to succeed
• Must have a strong relationship with God, as evidenced by a healthy devotional life and moral lifestyle
• Food managers certification and local/ state/ national requirements
• Basic food prep/ kitchen skills
• Commitment to embody and champion the vision of Dream Center Peoria and Dream Center Peoria Values
Additional Responsibilities:
• To perform other tasks that are directed by the Exec. Director, Kitchen manager and DCP Business manager.
