LOCAL EMERGENCY RELIEF

On Friday November 21st, our staff and volunteers were able to offer bags filled with groceries and various toiletries for community families. Our team created a walk up and drive through route to provide guests with food items, just in time for Thanksgiving.  There was a steady flow throughout all four hours!!

Because of the generosity of local churches and organizations over the past three weeks, we were able to hand out a total of 800+ bags of non-perishable food and essential items.

We are especially grateful for our partners who provided funding:

Centene Foundation/Meridian Health,
and Hy-Vee;

and for our church partners who have served as collection sites:  
New Life Church in Morton,
Northwoods Community Church,
RockChurch,
and St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington.

Our mission is to "impact families living in poverty...starting with kids and youth," and from the very beginning, we have looked to "find a need and fill it."  We love every opportunity to give dignity and hope in ways that are practical and life-sustaining.
